Zhejiang Yuanzheng Technology Co., Ltd. was founded as Deqing Yuanzheng Powder Factory in October 2002, which was upgraded to Deqing County Yuanzheng Powder Co., Ltd. in 2008. In February 2022, our sales and production were broken down for the better development, and our company was upgraded to Zhejiang Yuanzheng Technology Co., Ltd., and then we founded Fujian Sanming production base at the same time.

At present, the commonly used matting powders are silica, etc. Early inorganic powders such as light calcium carbonate, ultra-fine kaolin, talc, etc. have been used as matting powders, but these inorganic powders have their own drawbacks, that is, the dosage is large, and the excessive filler reduces the surface properties of the coating film, and then is resulting in phenomena such as delamination and precipitation. Silica matting powder can avoid these defects. Because of its small particle size (generally below 5μm) and porous material, it sinks slowly in the coating film, which does not affect the smoothness and feel of the coating appearance. Therefore, the application of silica matting powder is more and more praised by customers.

In the process of paint production, it can be matt-treated according to special requirements to obtain full-matte, semi-matte and matte coating effects. The process of matting treatment is generally realized by adding a certain amount of matting powder. The specific process is that the matting powder forms convection with the volatilization of the solvent during the film forming process, which is entrained to the surface of the coating film and stays on the surface. When light reaches the surface of the coating film, part of it will be absorbed by the coating film, while the other part will be reflected back. The addition of matting powder promotes the formation of fine roughness on the surface of the coating, thereby it can increase the proportion of scattered light and achieve the purpose of matting.
